What question would you most like answered?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 14, 2009:

In the Bible it says that God knows all and he has a plan for everything. Being a born again Christian I do believe that he has a plan for all but I can't help it when it's late at night and my mind wanders aimlessly about what his intentions were that fateful day Eve asked Adam to eat an apple from the forbidden tree. Flashing back to my years of living under a strict religious home, I remember my mother drilling into our heads what our fate would be come time for Judgement Day. If I did not give myslef completely to God then I would not have my name written in the Book of Life and be dammed to a life in hell. Getting to my point now, what were God's intentions as he viewed a potentially perfect world fall into a dark abyss of evil? I always was told he would take the people who were in the Book of Life to a kingdom where everything was perfect and free from all that is evil, but is he essentially trying to find the best of his supporters? Hopefully one day when I am in heaven this question will be answered and my uneasiness will be placed aside.

Where do you find the sacred in your life?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 07, 2009:

I really feel at peace when i take nature walks through the park with my boyfriend. Being able to hold hands with someone you really care about and just sit back and let mother nature give you a show really puts my mind at ease after such a tiring day behind a desk. I find the world around me to be so interesting that I could stay in a park for hours just examining everything that God has to offer. However, it is to my disdain that the local parks around my city are surrounded by railroad tracks and homes where a certain family's privacy is violated by park-goers who wander past there chain link fence. Passing past these modern industrialist methods of closure truly punctures the brief fantasy I was living in at that moment. Nature is beautiful and so peaceful that I fall deeply into a divine state of mind that is truly sacred and meaningful to my well-being.
